In this message Pastor Jake examines Revelation 8:1-5 where the Lord Jesus opens the seventh and final seal that was on the scroll that He received from the Father's right hand back in chapter 5. Upon opening it, he sees an angel offer incense and the prayers of the saints unto Lord. Then, the angel takes fire from the altar and casts it to the land. From this, we emphasized the glorious reality that God delights to answer prayer: The saints prayed for judgement upon the wicked (5th seal), and now God sends judgement upon the wicked (7th seal). In other words, He's answering their prayers! God delights to answer the prayers of His people. And therefore, Christian, PRAY!
Pastor Jake examines Revelation 7:9-17 in his sermon December 4th, 2022. In this passage, Jakes looks at the multitude who came through the Great Tribulation and worshipped the Lord by saying “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” Salvation is in the blood of the Lamb who will "guide them to springs of living water, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”
In this sermon, Pastor Jake Nelson shares about Jesus warning to Christians about the coming judgement. In Chapter 6, the question was asked "For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?" Revelation 7 verse 2, it is answered with "Only those who have the seal of the living God." Chapter 7 also shares what to look for and when to flee Jerusalem. Pastor Jake looks at the 12 Tribes of Judah, 144,000 and what that means in context of Scripture and shares about the differences we see in the listing of the names of the tribes.
Pastor Jake shares from Revelation 6:9-17. This passage describes the fifth and sixth seals that were opened describing prayers for judgement for those who are God's enemies. Sermon: 11/13/2022
In this message Pastor Jake examines Revelation 6:1-8 where Jesus (the Lamb) opens the first four seals the of the scroll that He received from the Father. The opening of these seals indicates the kind of judgement that will be unleashed upon Jerusalem in A.D. 70.—thus highlighting the truth of Hebrews 10:31 - “It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.”
Revelation 5:1-14, Worthy is the Lamb, Sermon 10-23-22
We see in this passage that John sees the Father on his throne holding a scroll (the New Covenant). No one in all of creation is able or worthy to take the scroll and open it Except the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, the Lamb who was slain and yet stands - Jesus Christ! When Jesus takes the scroll, heaven and earth erupt into worship, "with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor and glory, and blessing."

In this message Pastor Jake examines Revelation 3:14-22 where the Lord Jesus addresses the church in the city of Laodicea, where He rebukes them for their lukewarmness. From this, we examine what it means for a church (or family/individual) to be lukewarm, and why it's so important NOT to be that.
In this message Pastor Jake examines Revelation 3:7-13 where the Lord Jesus addresses the church in the city of Philadelphia. In so doing, he commends them for their faithfulness to keep God's word--even in the midst of a hostile environment. Therefore, let us (as the church today) commit to the same thing: keeping God's word with patient endurance.
In this message Pastor Jake examines Revelation 3:1-6 where the Lord Jesus addresses the church in the city of Sardis. This church was NOT commended for anything--but only rebuked for being dead. From this, we examine the question: How NOT to die as a church.
In this message Pastor Jake examines Revelation 2:18-29 where the Lord Jesus addresses the church in the city of Thyatira. In so doing, He commends them for their works of love, faith, service, and patient endurance--and that their latter works exceeded the first. But He also rebukes them for their toleration of false teachers and immoral practices, and therefore calls them to repent. From this, we examine the relevance of these commendations and rebukes as it applies to the church today.
In this message Pastor Jake examined Revelation 2:12-17 where Christ addresses the church in the city of Pergamum. In it, they are commended for their faithfulness to Him despite the fact that they lived "where Satan dwelt", and were suffering much persecution. But they were rebuked because there were some within the church who were compromising in a few areas--particularly: Idolatry and sexual immorality. Therefore, they are commanded to repent, lest Christ make war on them with the sword of His mouth. From this, we see the importance of holding fast to Christ (and never denying the faith) even in the midst of extreme opposition -AND- not giving over to subtle worldly compromises, either.
In this message Pastor Jake examines Revelation 2:8-11 where the Lord Jesus addresses the church in the city of Smyrna--highlighting their faithfulness and charging them to remain faithful (even unto death). If they remained faithfulness in their time of testing, they would receive the crown of life, and not be hurt by the second death.
In this message Pastor Jake examines Revelation 2:1-7 where the Lord begins to address the seven churches of Asia Minor, highlighting their faithfulness, and rebuking their sin. In the case of the Ephesian church, we see that they were commended for their unwillingness to put up with false teachers, BUT they were rebuked for having abandoned the love they had at first. They were orthodox, but not very loving. In this text, we see what the Lord has to say about that.
In this message Pastor Jake examines Revelation 1:9-20 where John (who has been exiled to the island of Patmos for his faith) is given a vision of Jesus. And in this vision, Jesus' glory shines forth as He walks amongst the seven golden lampstands, holding seven stars in His right hand, with a sharp, double-edged sword coming out of His mouth. We take time in this message to unpack what all these details mean, and then apply them to our lives today.
In this message Pastor Jake examines Revelation 1:1-8 where John greets the seven churches in Asia Minor. In so doing, he encourages them in three particular ways: 1) By reminding them of their salvation (v.4, 5) 2) By reminding them that Jesus is King (v.5) 3) By reminding them that Christians shall conquer the world as a kingdom of priests (v.6)
In this message Pastor Jake examines Revelation 1:1-8 where the apostle John begins this book by telling us right off the bat WHY he's writing, and the reason is two-fold: 1) to prophecy the *soon* destruction of Jerusalem 2) to strengthen and encourage the seven churches in Asia Minor In this message we specifically highlight the first point.
In this message Pastor Jake begins this series through the book of Revelation. In so doing, he unpacks four introductory questions: 1) Who wrote Revelation? 2) When was it written? 3) To whom was it written? 4) Why was it written? In answering these questions, we get a basic grasp of what this book is about, and will help us interpret the rest of the book.
